Maseru, Nov. 06 — Mr. Itumeleng Letsepe has been appointed as the new Director General of the National Security Services (NSS).
This was confirmed by the Principal Secretary of the National Security Services Ms. Mpho Marathane in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday.
Ms. Marathane mentioned that Mr. Letsepe has resumed office today (Wednesday) and will be serving on a three year contractual basis.
Though not stipulated clearly, Mr. Letsepe is reported to have previously served in a number of positions within the National Security Services before he retired.
