Maseru, Sept. 04 — National University of Lesotho (NUL) Professor George Mosotho has been elected as a Fellow of the Liberia Academy of Sciences.
The Liberia Academy of Sciences is a national scientific organization in Liberia intended to promote and advance science, research, innovation, and scientific education in the country.
The academy brings together scientists, researchers and academics, promotes scientific research and evidence-based policy-making, encourages collaboration among Liberian researchers and international institutions, supports scientists and science education and advises governments and other institutions on scientific and technological issues.
In its communication the academy says it has followed Professor Mosotho in Analytical chemistry, environmental monitoring, science policy and his current responsibilities as Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry, NUL.
It goes on to show that NUL’s current 2026 chemistry staff page verifies Professor Mosotho’s senior academic role, publication record, science-policy activity and directly published contact.
“Your experience is especially relevant to Liberia because water, environmental and mining-related analysis plus laboratory mentoring are practical priorities for Liberia. Professor Mosotho is the Founding President of ChemSol.
