OVER 6000 SMALL STOCK VACCINATED FOR SHEEP SCAB

Berea, Feb. 28 — Teyateyaneng Wool and Mohair Growers Association (TWMGA) has managed to vaccinate at least 6014 small stocks against the sheep scab in a campaign which lasted for two weeks.

This was disclosed by TWMGA Chairperson, Mr. Motsamai Nyareli when sharing their vaccination campaign performance to farmers on Thursday.

Mr. Nyareli said the vaccination campaign started from February 06 to 20 targeting small stock farmers under their association and farmers at individual capacity.

“When the vaccination campaign is rolled out, they have to ensure that they leave no one behind because a single sheep that might be missed can infect others, hence efforts to include farmers who are not affiliated to any association or group,” he explained…RM/TL
