Maseru, Oct.03 — The defence together the prosecution in a corruption case relating to repairs of air conditioners at Manthabiseng Convention Centre, which is before the Maseru Magistrate’s Court, have on Tuesday requested for an opportunity to conduct a Pre- Trial Conference (PTC) in preparation for hearing of the matter.
Prosecution lawyer in the matter, Advocate Mponeng Ranthithi told the court that parties have agreed to conduct the PTC as the trial is scheduled for hearing in February 2024.
She requested that they be allowed to go ahead with the exercise and be given timelines.
The Court through Chief Magistrate ‘Matankiso Nthunya granted the request and directed that minute of the PTC be filed on November 30, 2023.
