Maseru, March 05- The community of Krammel, Ha Khabo has expressed satisfaction with the services they receive at Khabo Health Care Centre, citing improvements in patient care and availability of medication.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Thursday, one of the patients at the centre, Nkhono ’Maeketsang Sehloho, said the time patients spend waiting for services has been reduced compared to previous years.
She noted that the availability of medication and the provision of free services are among the improvements that have made it easier for patients to receive treatment without unnecessary delays.
’Maeketsang also indicated that health workers at the facility treat patients with respect and ensure that they receive proper attention when they arrive for medical services.
She added that in the past patients sometimes had to wait for long hours and were occasionally referred to other health facilities due to shortages of medication.
The community has therefore applauded the improvements and expressed hope that the centre will continue to maintain the quality of services provided to the public.
Meanwhile, another patient, Ms. Ntaoleng Moima, said services at the centre are now more convenient for adolescent girls as they are able to receive guidance on how to protect themselves and maintain good health.
Khabo Health Care Centre is among the health facilities receiving support from the government of the United States of America.
