MASERU – The Minister of Education and Training (MoET), Professor Ntoi Rapapa says, Public Officers’ Defined Contribution Pension Fund is uniquely designed.
He said this when officiating the third annual member engagement forum held in Maseru on Wednesday. The Minister said this forum continues to serve as a platform for accountability where progress, dedication, risk and possible solutions are presented by the fund authorities.
He mentioned that decisions to be taken during this forum here should be considered thoughtfully as those are made for a larger group, thus thanking the board for continuing with this culture of engagement.
He expressed the government’s commitment to the fund, affirming their support to reinforce the fund stability, adding it is an anchor of confidence to Lesotho’s economy.
He explained that this fund is one of the major investments that has a way of contributing more to economic growth hence the government is working hand in glove with the private sector to unlock more opportunities for growth…
