PM ATTENDS KAGAME’S INAUGURATION

Maseru, Aug. 11 — The Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane is currently in Rwanda to attend the inauguration of the President elect of the Republic of Rwanda.

General elections of Rwanda were held on July 15, 2024 to elect the president and members of the Chamber of Deputies.

In an election that was criticised as unfair for its barring of serious opposition candidates, incumbent President Paul Kagame who has been in office since 2000 was elected to a fourth term.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Sunday, the Press Attaché at the office of the Prime Minister Mr. Thapelo Mabote stated that the Prime Minister will be at this event from August 10 to 12th.
