Maseru, Sept.23– The Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane has announced Lesotho’s recent approval to join the Smart Africa Alliance and its upcoming hosting of AU member states and partners to validate the Digital Transformation Implementation Assessment Report.
This Mr.Matekane said at the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Africa Leaders Symposium, held at the iconic NASDAQ headquarters in New York City. The symposium brought together African Heads of State and Government, policymakers, and global stakeholders to discuss the future of governance and digital transformation across the continent.
According to a media statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, in his keynote address, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the APRM’s enduring mission since 2003 which has focused on promoting good governance, accountability and mutual learning among African nations including publication of the digital Governance Atlas of the APRM to monitor indices of Good Governance across the AU Member States…
