Maseru, Dec.01— Mr. Mofo Setloboko who was in 2014 working as a Forensic Scientist, holding a position of Senior Lab Technologist in the Forensic Laboratory attached to the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) says there was no cooperation between the civilian and police teams investigating bombings that had occurred at Moshoeshoe II and Ha Abia.
This he said during his evidence in a case in which Former Commander of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli and four army members are accused of the bombings that occurred in 2014, at the home of Liabiloe Ramoholi (Maesiah Thabane) at Moshoeshoe II and that of Former Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Khothatso Ts’ooana at Ha Abia.
He stated that the police did not want the civilian team at the crime scene adding that they victimised them and forced them to work under pressure. When he was shown a picture of an unexploded bomb which was said to have been found at Ha Abia, he told the court that he did not see it. He pointed out that if it was found at the scene and he was given an opportunity to examine it, he could have included it in his findings.
