Maseru, Feb.26—Lance Sergeant Shaabe Thamae, a police officer who took a stand on Monday last week as 8th witness for the state in a treason trial is still under cross examination which started on Monday this week.
The witness has testified about the events that took place in August 2014 at the Police Headquarters whereby Sub-Inspector Mokheseng Ramahloko was shot by army members who were conducting an operation.
Following his evidence in chief, the court went on an inspection in loco at the Police Headquarters in Maseru.
He was today, under cross-examination, told by Advocate Kabelo Letuka, a legal representative for one of the accused, Litekanyo Nyakane, that what he says happened inside and outside the Radio Room cannot possibly be true…
