POLITICAL PARTIES SIGN IEC CODE 

Maseru, July 19 — Thirty-two political parties signed Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) code of conduct at an event held in Maseru on Wednesday.

These parties signed before Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) and the media prior to September 29, local government elections.

In his remarks, IEC Commissioner, Mr. Ts’oeu Petlane said the signing signals parties commitment to free, fair and peaceful elections. Therefore, during campaigns, IEC aspires for a process that does not violate others’ rights. . .
