Maseru, Jan. 16 — The principles of democracy continue to be undermined by politicians who are always hungry for power, Thaba – Bosiu Principal Chief, Khoabane Theko has said.
According to the Chief Theko, Lesotho is meant to commemorate 200 years this new year in the name of the existence of the nation, since its formation by the late Morena Moshoeshoe I.
However, he said it is demoralising that even at this crucial time, when the nation ought to be united in preparation and celebration for this event, politicians continue to be hungry for power, thus undermining values of democracy.
