PRIME MINISTER, KING LETSIE III LEAD NATIONAL FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

Maseru, Oct. 02 — In a significant event marking 200 years celebration of Lesotho’s founding and the 58th independence, Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Samuel Matekane and King Letsie III presided over the raising of the national flag in Maseru, today.

Speaking at the event, King Letsie III expressed his gratitude to the owner of Maseru Mall for their collaboration in joining Basotho in the momentous celebration.

King Letsie III commended the efforts of the Minister of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture and other Ministries for their roles in orchestrating the flag raising ceremony.

“The flag represents more than just a symbol, it signifies the love Basotho have for their country,” indicated King Letsie III.
