PRINCIPAL COMPLAINS OF DECREASING ROLL OF PUPILS

Mafeteng, Sept.05—The Principal of Matsepe High School Mr. Lehlohonolo Molatela has expressed concern over the decreasing roll of pupils at the school.

In an interview with the agency on Tuesday,   Mr Molatela said the school was enrolled with two hundred and four pupils last year and after the winter season the school was left with only hundred and sixty-six pupils.

He attributed the major contributing factors as covid-19 whereby the majority of parents and guardians lost their jobs and as a result they are unable to pay school fees and  boys who left the school for initiation school.
