Maseru, Sept. 06 — The Acting Principal Secretary (PS) Mrs. Mapeo Matlanyane has failed to submit to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) the supporting documents that approved the establishment of National COVID-19 Secretariat (NACOSEC).
During the PAC meeting, the PS was instructed to submit before the committee legal documents that allowed the establishment of the NACOSE to perform its duties in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and she failed to do so.
According to her, she tried all that she could to find them but unfortunately she could not find help from relevant offices.
