PUBLIC SCEPTICAL ABOUT COVID-19 TEST TO TREAT

Maseru, Jan.26 — Members of the public have reservations regarding the newly launched COVID-19 Test to Treat program.

The Test to Treat program gives people a fast and easy way to get lifesaving treatment for COVID-19 and in Lesotho it was launched in December 2023 with the roll out in place already.

Speaking in an interview, one Mr. Teboho Ramontšo said that he does not understand why people are being forced to take treatment saying that everything about COVID-19 is being forced on them adding that some people have not been well since they took COVID-19 vaccines therefore medication (capsules) could have more dire effects.

He said that COVID-19 did not attack Lesotho like it did in other countries despite the government not handling the issue well saying that people were forced to vaccinate yet they were not sensitized before and that alone brought negative perceptions. . .
