Qacha’s Nek, April 27—Ahead of the upcoming international marathon set for October 26, a top businessman Mr. Ts’otleho Sehloho has on Saturday launched the annual 21 kilometers marathon sponsored by Manti Sehloho (MS) Construction and Projects (MSCP).
The marathon race which forms part of the 200 years anniversary celebration since the founding of the nation by King Moshoeshoe I will take place in Qacha’s Nek from Ha Noosi village to Melele ground.
Prizes to be won by top five winners for both female and males are M150,000, M100,000, M60 000, M30,000 and M20,000. Both veterans and youth will be awarded M10,000.
Speaking at the event, the Mountain Marathon 21 km organizing committee chairperson, Mrs. ‘Maletsitsa Nthakong said the launch was a formal introduction of the advent of MS which is inspired by the sponsor’s long standing contributions to society and community as a way of giving back and changing Melele’s lives for the better, through the nurturing of their talent.
