QUEEN MAMOHATO HOSPITAL WELCOMES NEW YEAR BABIES

Maseru, Jan. 01 – Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital welcomed the New Year with three babies and more are expected to be born later on Monday.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency, Queen Mamohato Memorial hospital Unit Manager Mr. Lebohang Lephoto said two baby boys and a girl were born on Monday morning with the first child born at 06:03 a.m while the last one was born at 07:59 a.m, saying more are expected to be born later today as four expectant mothers are labouring.

He said two babies were born through a caesarean section while one was born normally and weighed between 2 and 3.38 kilograms.

In an interview, one of the mothers, Mrs. Mathabang Tekane expressed pride over a newly born baby girl, thanking God that her baby was born on this day and in good health. . .
