SADP FUNDED NUTRITION TEAMS SHARE SUCCESSES

Quthing, Sept. 04 — Representatives from ten (10) Nutrition Clubs engaged in Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP) funded activities for promotion of proper nutrition and Agricultural Assistants, attend a two-day workshop held at a local Lodge in Upper Moyeni on Wednesday. 

The event organised by the Nutrition Division of the District Department of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition has been intended to give participants an opportunity to share success stories, challenges and develop plans for successful implementation of their activities to meet their common aim of promoting proper nutrition practises at their villages. 

In an interview at the same event, the SADP Nutrition Specialist Mr. Mpaki Makara said the clubs have been supported by the project since last year with among others shade nets, irrigation equipment, various fruit trees, and chicken which they receive on phases to promote proper nutrition attained with a balanced diet. . .
