SANNERE’S NO SHOW SPARKS OUTRAGE

Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 12 — Three days after the highly anticipated Melele Skyblast Festival, event organizers and MC are still grappling with the fallout from a no-show by popular artist Relebohile Monaphathi, aka Sannere, who failed to perform at the November 9, 2024 event.

Ticket prices for the festival ranged from M60 for early bird tickets, M80 for general admission and M100 at the gate, but despite all preparations, festival goers were left disappointed when Sannere did not show up.

Tlhokomelo Sekhotla, one of the event organizers, revealed that they had made all necessary arrangements to accommodate an artist of Sannere’s stature.

Two days before the event, they had confirmed details with his management, including a time slot for his performance, as Sannere was scheduled to perform at multiple locations on the same day Maseru, Quthing and Qacha’s Nek.
