Maseru, Oct. 31– The Chairpersons of the Senate clusters say it is time for the House to redefine its roles and responsibilities, this they said during their meeting after the adjournment of the house duties on Tuesday.
The Chairperson of the Petition Committee Senator Mawinnie Kanetsi said it is crucial that the House revisit its roles and responsibilities, she said this would help members of the House to remember their call.
Senator Kanetsi said one of the duties of the Senate is work in the best interests of the public, but that no longer happens because the house seems to have lost touch as to what they are expected to do.
