SENQUNYANE FARMERS COUNT LOSSES

Berea, Nov 01—With many farmers expressing delight over the early rains amid the summer cropping,  some Senqunyane farmers in the foothills of Berea district are counting some losses on both crops and small stock due to snowfall.

According to one of the small stock farmers Mr. ‘Nokoane Saremone the freezing weather has left him wondering after losing a flock of 70 lambs and 30 sheep as a result of Monday overnight snowfall.
