Leribe, Jan, 13 — Annual Sheep Scab Campaign Leribe commenced today, January 13 and it will end on February 28.
This was revealed by District Veterinary Officer at the meeting held together with representatives from different Wool and Mohair associations at District Agriculture Office (DAO) Hlotse in Leribe.
Speaking at the meeting Dr. Owen Kakono said the purpose of the meeting is to outline how the campaign will be conducted as to avoid challenges they encountered last time.
He indicated that one of the challenges was that the farmers did not honour the dates scheduled for dipping and vaccination thus leading to a haphazard report. . .
