SIBLINGS’ BODIES RECOVERED IN MAQALIKA DAM

Maseru, Jan. 02 — Bodies of two women who are siblings aged between 26 and 42 have been recovered from Maqalika dam on Wednesday.

This was said by Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli who said that the deceased are originally from Ha Khoeli, Koro-Koro but were residing at Ha Tsolo in Maseru.

He said, according to preliminary reports, the duo were abducted from their residential place on Tuesday night or early morning hours of Wednesday and their vehicle pushed into the Maqalika dam.

He added that the deceased were found with wounds from a sharp object. He indicated that the cause of the incident has still not been established.
