Maseru, Nov. 11 — Lesotho Standard Bank (SLB) held a one-day Supplier Symposium aimed at fostering stronger relationships between the bank and its suppliers, while aligning strategies for mutual growth and development.
SLB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Anton Nicolaisen made a point in his opening remarks about the vital role SLB plays in driving Lesotho’s economic growth.
He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to growing the nation by offering tailored financial solutions and revealed that 85 percent of the bank’s supply base is locally sourced, noting the importance of nurturing local partnerships.
Supporting these sentiments, Mr. Mokakatise Motleleng and Mrs. Matebello ‘Nete, spoke on SLB’s efforts to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote long-term, sustainable growth.
