SMALL STOCK FARMERS PRODUCTION DECLINED – BKB

Qacha’s Nek, April.09-  COVID-19 pandemic and lack of money have brought the quality of merino sheep and angora goats down.

This was said by BKB Manager Central District Field Advisors Wool and Mohair Mr. Corne Nel.

Speaking to the Agency on Tuesday, he said COVID-19 effects evidently reflected on the quality of farmer’s production as they did not buy rams during that period and invested less in nutrition post the crisis due to financial constraints..
