SOCIAL MOBILISATION FOR MEASLES/RUBELLA CAMPAIGN STARTS

Mokhotlong, Oct. 15 — Members of the Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) team have started social mobilisation in different parts of the district from Wednesday.

Social mobilisation is conducted in preparations for a five day national Measles/Rubella vaccination campaign starting from Monday to Friday next week.

The campaign is led by the Ministry of Health to ensure all children between nine and 59 months old are protected against Measles/Rubella diseases.

Mobilising the public at a gathering held at Malubalube in the district, a member of the RCCE team Mrs. ‘Malimpho Malefane said the upcoming campaign is aimed at strengthening the protection of children through vaccination so as to enable them to grow up healthy.
