MASERU — The Minister of Sports, Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo officially launched the 2025 Lesotho Institutions Sports Association (LISA) National Ball Games on Friday.
In his speech, the Minister highlighted the importance of sports in building unity amongst the society.
He added that the youth should take different sporting codes seriously, as they have the potential of selling their talents to the international world while also making a living.

He further thanked Econet Telecom Lesotho for having sponsored financially and otherwise the games.
Meanwhile, Econet Telecom Lesotho CEO, Mr. Dennis Plaatjies reaffirmed the entity’s commitment in supporting sporting activities, adding they will come back again on Sunday to award the schools that have won.
He wished players well throughout the games and weekend, further urging them to compete positively.
