STREET VENDOR WANTS MORE PROFITS

MASERU – One of the Street Vendors who showed up at work on Christmas day, Mr. Mikaele Molao says this day presents a lot of opportunities for his business as many have not reported to work.

“This means that by the end of business, I will have achieved better profits than the rest of my colleagues as customers will be forced to opt for my services due to no competition.”

He explained that working on Christmas day and serving his customers is part of him celebrating Christmas, adding that while unemployment is high in the country, the need for all to be motivated, explore ways of fending for their families is vital to earn a living.

Mr. Molao of Matsieng stated that on normal working days, he arrives at his workstation at around 06:00am but today he arrived at 08:00am and at the time of the interview at around 9:00am, he had already sold a few things to his customers.

He mentioned that Christmas is indeed a season for spreading joy, expressing love and support, thus thanking his customers for their continued support throughout the year. . .
