SUSPENDED BNP MEMBERS THREATEN TO SEEK COURT INTERVENTION

Maseru, April 04 — One of the five suspended Basotho National Party (BNP) members says they intend challenging the party leader’s decision to suspend them via  letters he wrote to them ahead of the party’s conference which is scheduled to start from April 14 to 16 at Botha Bothe Community School.

Speaking with one of the five suspended, Mr Seesio Bereng a chairperson for Mekaling Constituency told the Agency on Tuesday that if the negotiations fail to try and amicably resolve this matter, they intend seeking the court’s intervention.

Mr. Bereng claimed that the BNP Leader was trying to bar them from attending the BNP elective conference that will be held in Botha Bothe in mid-April.
