Thaba Tseka, Mar. 11 — The Minister of Trade and Industry has urged the Thaba Tseka community to work for unity and peace for the development of the nation.
This, Minister Mokhethi Shellie stated during the commemoration of Moshoeshoe’s day on Monday. According to Mr. Shellie, Lesotho is ranked high among the African continent with high crime and killings of innocent people.
He said that needs to be reversed and asked Basotho to build peace in their communities and do as the founder of Basotho has always done. He said Moshoeshoe 1 yearned for peace and has promoted that is why he accommodated all the nations to make one nation.
Mr. Shelile said it is high time that Basotho change their mindset and behaviour and go into production of food and become the granary of Southern Africa as it produced a lot of food which it exported to SA mines in Kimberly.
