Maseru, Sept.29—-As part of celebrating Lesotho and the beauty it offers through its different scenic places, Thapoha Hiking Club will engage in a three-ranges trail inaugural walk.
According to a press statement from the Club, the activity is scheduled to commence on Sunday and come to an end on October 14 2023. It adds that the 14-day trail is intended to cover 288.3 kilometres from Morifi in Mohale’s Hoek to Thabana-Ntlenyane in Mokhotlong.
It states that while only 14 hikers comprising men and women, will embark on the full trail, there will be many others who will be participating in the selected sections of the trail. It emphasises that the trail will be the first in the history of Lesotho and within the hiking community adding that the intention is to make it an annual event with the aim to promote tourism as well as the outdoor lifestyle of hiking and camping in Lesotho.
