Maseru, Nov 09 – Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema says Section 7 of Livestock Act 2000 provides that any person who possesses livestock is allowed to cause it to be issued the bewys by the Bewys Writer.
In his statement he made in the National Assembly on Thursday, Mr. Lephema said it has been observed that there is no problem or complaint concerning the livestock that is being transferred to another person for Mafisa or Bohali purposes.
‘The main concern is mainly on livestock that is taken to the open market’ he highlighted. . .
