TRANS-AFRICA TOURISM CALLS FOR BORDERLESS AFRICA

Maseru, Oct.07–Trans-Africa Tourism and Unity Campaign Leader has strongly called for borderless Africa to keep opportunities, boost trade, intra-Africa tourism, cultural exchange as well as keep them together.

Mr. Ras Mubarak said this during a media briefing on Tuesday in Maseru. Trans-Africa Tourism and Unity Campaign, a government of Ghana backed initiative aimed at uniting Africa through a visa-free policy for nationals traveling through the continent.

The campaign is traveling 39 African countries over 163 days with Lesotho being the 13th to visit so far to advocate for seamless travel, tourism and economic integration, engaging governments, traditional leaders and citizens in the vision for a borderless Africa.

He said a borderless Africa is not only achievable but essential for the continent’s economic and cultural integration, saying they believe a visa-free Africa can become a reality within the next five years…
