TSOSANE DUMPING TO BE RELOCATED TO TS’OENENG-LEPHEMA

Maseru, April 16 — Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema says the Tsósane Dumping Site is set to be relocated to Ts’oeneng without giving the time frame.

Mr. Lephema briefed the Law and Public Safety Cluster in its sitting at the New Parliament premises on Tuesday.

He stated that the Maseru City Council (MCC) which was not represented at the meeting, has already had a meeting with the Ha Ts’osane residents where they agreed that in the meantime, the Ts’osane dumping site should still remain operational while logistics are being underway for it to be relocated to Ts’oeneng.

The Minister said even though the issue of Ha Ts’osane Dumping site was not part of the day’s agenda, he could assure the committee that processes are already underway to relocate the dumping site to Ts’oeneng.
