Maseru, Jan.28 — Principal at Monts’i primary school situated about 100km from Maseru has attributed parents and guardians’ disinterest to low school roll.
Mr. Nkesana Nkesana divulged this in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday where he said that this is the third year that the roll for the school has been constant with only 50 learners from grades one to seven.

He said that this is because of lack of interest shown by parents and guardians saying they (parents) have claimed that children do not want to go to school.
He said that this is despite being sensitised about the Education Act on compulsory education. . .
