UNITE AGAINST DIABETES – KOPO

Maseru, Oct. 16 – The nation has been called to work together and tackle non communicable diseases particularly diabetes, Ms. Kotulo Kopo, one of the organisers of diabetes awareness half-marathon to be held in Maseru on November 16 has said.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency, Ms. Kopo said the event planned by Maseru Mall and Twenty-3 Events is part of their efforts to join the World in commemorating World Diabetes Day (WDD), often marked on November 14.

She articulated that in this era, where diseases including diabetes have become a major challenge within the society, the need to engage in campaigns aimed at raising awareness so as to be proactive, prevent and support those living with diabetes.
