Maseru, Oct. 10 —- Vodacom Lesotho, a subsidiary of Vodafone continues to strengthen its data protection and privacy measures in line with local and global regulations.
As stated by Mrs. Reitumetse Ramaema, Manager of Privacy Compliance, emphasized that the company operates under Vodafone and it is governed by the Data Protection Act (DPA) in Lesotho.
“Vodacom Lesotho (VCL) is regulated by Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) while Vodacom Financial Services are regulated by Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL),” she said.
She indicated that Vodacom has more than 1.8 million subscribers worldwide.
