WHEAT HARVESTING ON PROGRESS IN QUTHING

 

Quthing, Jan. 10 – –  At Least Twenty (20)  tonnes of wheat grain have been yielded at Tele area block farming during the ongoing  harvesting with a combine harvester at Tele Agricultural Resource Centre.

The 20 tonnes of wheat grain equivalent to 410 babgs  of 50 kg grain, have been received after harvesting more than 30 hectares on individual block farming, carried out with a combine harvester from the Department of Agriculture Food Security and Nutrition. 

In an interview with the Agency, the District Agricultural Officer (DAO) Mr. Phamotse Maboee  said Tele block farming at the Resource Center will benefit 27 field owners that each of them is to get 30% share of the yield  per field…
