Maseru, Feb.21—On Friday last week when the Mohale Dam murder trial adjourned, Inspector Nthejane was under cross examination and today when the same case continues, he remains under questioning by the defence on his evidence.
Today Advocate Letuka Molati, one of the defence lawyers, completed his cross-examination on the witness and another defence lawyer Adv. Qhalehang Letsika took over.
The witness was asked by Adv. Letsika why he and other police officers who were part of an investigation team into the matter only wrote reports in 2021 and not in 2017 when the investigations were made. He stated that the reports should have been made in 2017 adding that he is not aware that they were not made.
