Leribe, Feb. 03 – As response to the Ministry of Education Back to School campaign, World Vision Lesotho (WVL) on Monday gave out school uniform to Phelisanong Centre for Disabled at Pitseng in Leribe.
The school uniform comprised of school shirts and trousers.
Speaking in an interview with the agency, WVL Leribe Cluster Manager Mr. Motlatsi Nketsi said the purpose of the event was to motivate and inspire the children into education.
In addition, he said it was for WVL to show care to the pupils.
He indicated that this was propelled through the event that was held together with UNICEF last year at the same centre, whereby WVL made a follow-up on how it can assist the centre.
Referring to school uniform, he said they gave out shirts to all disabled girls and shirts and trousers to all disabled boys.
Again, he elaborated that the same were given to Grade One, Two and Three. . .
