WVL, LNFOD STRENGTHEN PROTECTION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

Berea, Oct 17 — World Vision Lesotho (WVL) and the Lesotho National Federation of Organization of the Disabled (LNFOD) has led the one-day exchange meeting on Thursday with different stakeholders to discuss the government commitments against the reality on the ground of service delivery faced by people with disability. 

The meeting staged in Berea saw in attendance Heads of Departments (HOD’s) and LNFOD community representatives. 

When briefing stakeholders, WVL PPHR Project Officer Mr. Lebamang Rasetla said WVL through the support of European Union is implementing the project called, “Empowerment of Civil Society Organization in Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (PPHR) which is aimed at strengthening social protection systems in response to Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and protection of the rights of people with disability. . .
