IOM HOLDS MIGRATION PROFILE VALIDATION WORKSHOP

Maseru, Aug.08—At least 43 percent of households in Lesotho are reported to have one of their family members living away from home.

This emerged at the one day validation workshop of the Lesotho Migration Profile report which was held in Maseru on Tuesday.

In her remarks, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Lesotho Project Officer Mrs. ‘Mabaruti Motsamai stated that the migration profile serves as a data collection tool and a capacity building tool for sustainability and periodic updates of migration profile report as well as a reference tool supporting mobility partnership, monitoring and evaluation and impact of the migration profile.
