SERA TO MISS LIKUENA AFCON QUALIFIER

Maseru, Sept. 04 — South Africa based player Motebang Sera is going to miss senior soccer squad Likuena last TotalEnergies 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Cote d’Ivoire to be played in Abidjan on Sunday.

Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati told the Agency that Sera sustained a niggling injury two weeks ago while playing for his DSTV Premiership side Royal AM and therefore has been ruled out of this last AFCON qualifier.

He said Likuena interim coach Mr. Leslie Notsi is scheduled to announce his final squad later on Monday after learning who is not available after the Alliance Challenge in which Matlama, Lioli, Linare and LCS all have players in the senior soccer squad.
