QUARTET FAIL TO UNDERGO ELITE REFS FITNESS TEST

Maseru, Aug 21 — A quartet of local referees have failed to be part of the 30 Elite Premier League referees who were scheduled to undergo an intensive fitness test that was conducted by FIFA and local instructors at Setsoto Stadium on Monday.

The fitness test is part of the Lesotho Football Association Elite Referees Course that will take a weeklong starting from Monday.

Referees Coordinator Mr. Mohau Sents’o told the Agency on Monday that the quartet had  returned from Botswana where they officiated one of the CAF Champions league and therefore could not be expected to take part in the fitness test.
