PERSISTENT RAIN DAMAGES CROPS

Mokhotlong, April 7.—Persistent rain hinders harvesting for various farmers, as it rains almost every day, causing damage to their crops and reducing the yield.

Speaking to one crop farmer, Mrs. Sanah Lebopo,  stated that she has not harvested her beans due to the heavy rains. She explained that the fields are so muddy that it will be difficult for her to harvest.

This rain also hinders the drying process, and her worry is that the beans’ pods will be damaged…
