Quthing, April.01 – The Minister of Environment and Forestry, Mr. Letsema Adont’si, is expected to officially hand over a newly constructed animal dip tank to the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, Mr. Thabo Mofosi, during a ceremony scheduled for Wednesday next week at Peete Woolshed.
The dip tank, valued at M365,400, was funded by the Regeneration of Livelihoods and Landscape (ROLL) Project under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Construction of the facility was completed last year.
Speaking in an interview, the District Agricultural Officer, Mrs. Nkhala Mokhethi, said the dip tank has been constructed at Letlapeng in the Likhaebaneng cattle posts, an area located about 10 kilometres from Peete Woolshed and known for being difficult to access.
