Maseru, Feb. 15 — Inspector Nthejane who is currently under cross-examination in a trial within trial in the ongoing Mohale Dam Murder Trial, says the accused gave the police directions to where they committed the offences they are charged with.
He refuted evidence by the defence that the police were the ones giving the directions. He stated that the accused showed them a place at Setibing where they killed the deceased.
He added that they also led them to Ha Mohale where they pointed to a spot in the Mohale Dam where they dumped the bodies of the deceased.
Advocate Letuka Molati who was cross-examining the witness, insisted that Inspector Lebajoa who was leading the investigation team talked on his phone and requested for directions while at Setibing as well as Ha-Mohale.
