Berea, Sept 25 — In celebration of the diamond jubilee, the office of Auditor General has observed the event by hosting a career guidance to the grade ten students of Mamathe Community high school and Lioli high school on Monday.
Speaking at the occasion staged at ‘Mamathe High School, Auditor General Ms. Mathabo Makenete remarked that when public funds are allocated in parliament, there is a need to oversee implementation of programs intended for the development of the country.
Ms. Makenete called for a collective responsibility between parents and students and to pay attention during budget speech in parliament and hold the key players accountable for the spending of allocated funds.
