Berea, Aug 04 — Dealing with survivors of human trafficking require Journalists who are trauma informed, Beautiful Dream Society (BDS), Anti Trafficking Shelter Coordinator has said.
Unpacking the concept of human trafficking for Journalists attending Human Rights workshop, Ms. Puleng Maluleka mentioned that trauma attached to survivors is very sticky, hence when interviewing them Journalists should be aware not to be affected such that their stories would lose objectivity. . .
